Paşalimanı Adası (formerly Halone) is a small Turkish island in the south of Sea of Marmara. The island belongs to Marmara district of Balıkesir Province in northwestern Turkey. There are five small settlements in the island.

In te island seasons are going but time is stopped. In the winter population is about 800 persons. in the summer about 7ooo persons. Count of doctor is always zero.

Now We are in the garden of that historical place. This tomb belongs to Ziya Gökalp who is the pioneer of Turkish sociology. Yellow tank is a suprise.
Yellow tank and mausoleum of Sultan II. Abdulhamid who reigned from 1876 to 1909 in the Ottoman Empire.
A touristic WC where is in the front of the Mausoleum of Sultan II. Abdulhamid. I think that yellow tank is very important for this place.

Beyoglu was called "Pera" at the old times. Most important street of Istanbul is Istiklal Street on Beyoglu. Every hour of day it is crowded and lively. It is entertainment and shopping center. It begins Taksim Square and ends Tunel.Beyoğlu'nun eski adı Pera dır. Istanbul'un en önemli caddesi İstiklaldir. Günün her saati kalabalık ve canlıdır.

Istanbul Olympic Games were been forgetten. 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012 now maybe 2020 but I think 2080. At least Sinan Erdem* Sports Complex is waiting year 2010. Turkey is going to stage the 2010 World Basketball Championships;The games will be held at four cities. First round games to be held at Ankara, Antalya and Izmir and the final round will be hosted in Istanbul. From the 1/16 finals till the Classification matches(including the semis) Abdi Ipekci Arena will host the games and the Finals will be at the newl-built Sinan Erdem Sports Complex with a European record of 23,000 seating capacity...
What about sport Compex at this moment...

I always like looking on this building from boat. The building turns its back on Istanbul to struggle for existance as people who works on the Sirkeci. Many years this ruined building stays here where it is best one panoramic place of Istanbul . Whatever, finally l fall in love with it.Eminönü iskelesinde vapurlardan bu binayı izlemekten herzaman keyif alırım. İstanbul'a sırtını dönmüş Sirkeci'deki insanların yaşam mücadelesine katılmış gibidir. İstanbul'un en güzel panoramik yerlerinden olan bu yerde O böyle yaparken biz İstanbullular yıllarca bu binanın döküntü halini izlemeye mahkum olmuşuzdur. O kadar ki ben bu görünüme sevgi ile bağlanmış biri olup çıktım.
